The termite work a bush-fringe home needs
Subterranean termites do not announce themselves. They travel up from the soil into wall frames, floor timbers and door jambs, often without a mark on the surface. So Anthony starts with a timber pest inspection to Australian Standard AS 4349.3, working through the subfloor, the perimeter and the roof void to find activity and the damp, timber-to-ground contact that lets it in.
Where he finds a risk, two treatments handle it. A chemical soil barrier with BASF Termidor surrounds the home so foraging termites carry the product back and the colony dies out. An in-ground BASF Trelona baiting system does the same job by drawing the colony onto a bait, and suits sites where a full barrier is not practical. Both go in to AS 3660, and pre-construction protection is available for new work. Anthony holds NSW EPA licence 5115417 with the Timber Pest Control endorsement, issued in 2020 and listed on the public register.
